After completing hundreds of pool servicing and maintenance assignments, Jason Beirne, of London Swimming Pool Company, has parked his service van for the last time, transferring to the design and build division where he is learning the art of pool and spa design under the tutelage of Peter Hales, head of design projects.
“After a great 18 months working with some of the most knowledgeable individuals, I’ve swapped my role as a service engineer to become a trainee project designer, learning a range of new skills including technical drawing on the job and at Lambeth College,” said Jason.
“I’ve always wanted to get involved in the process of working with clients to bring their vision for their pools and spas to life. I’m so excited to have gained this traineeship. Whilst I loved servicing pools and seeing everything working in harmony and as efficiently as it should, I’m eager to develop my drawing skills, product knowledge, and help the design team create more award winning pools.”
