Plastica’s newest member of the team is hoping to be as good in his new role as he is on the golf course, as he tees off in the position of Sales Executive. A keen golfer, Ryan comes from a heavy plant background, where his duties included overseeing the hire of machinery across the UK, as well as customer service.
“I am a very passionate golfer I have a handicap of four, so if anyone needs a lesson, I am happy to help!” offers Ryan.
Ryan is looking forward to joining the Plastica family, where his role will entail building customer relationships, managing their requirements and learning about Plastica’s extensive product catalogue.
“I am excited about starting a new adventure in the pool industry and promoting the quality products that Plastica has to offer. My bosses at Plastica have been very supportive and have welcomed me into the team. I wouldn’t want to work for anyone else,” he adds.
Ryan’s appointment coincides with the launch of Plastica’s new and improved website, which is now fully responsive, with different views available dependent on the device it is accessed on.
From now on, all customers are presented with a list price alongside the price they pay and specific carriage options for customers have also been added.
“We have been busy making improvements to the functionality of our website, which we are confident will make the site more user-friendly for our customers,” comments Steve Smith, Sales Manager.
“We now have the ability to offer online promotions which are usually only available to telephone customers and we can also offer a discount rate to any product for a specific time period, with a countdown timer to show when the item will return to its usual rate.”
