Pollet Pool Group UK entertained a number of its customers to a day Newbury races recently.
The day was put on to thank those customers for their business in what has been a record year of sales for PPG.
The gathering started with a short presentation from General Manager, David Sargentson providing an overview of the Pollet Group and introducing a PPG UK team. He reflected on 2021 that has been a year of re-building the PPG UK team with many new faces including, David Sargentson himself, Dave Bretherton and Hannah Chappel, covering sales in the North and Central region, Alex Miron and Dominic Gape O’Donnell in Technical Support.
Following the presentation, a buffet style lunch was served and the tote was open for betting.
Advice from the tipster proved invaluable as many of the attendees that followed his advice resulted in many winners.
PPG UK Commercial Manager Jimmy Lamb commented: “The whole event was a fantastic day and it was heartening to see such quality pool companies sharing this occasion with us at Pollet all in one room.
“We’ve had a record year in sales, particularly with our InverX Heat Pump, Aquadeck slatted covers and AFM from Dryden Aqua.
“With the imminent appointment of a new Warehouse Manager and Customer Service Manager to our new team we are in a really good place to take the business forward and build on the success of 2021.”
