Falcon Pools worked closely with a prestigious property developer and client to achieve the look and particular style of this pool, from design through to choosing all the finishing touches.
The brief for the outdoor pool was to build a water feature that could be used as a swimming pool. A sprayed concrete 15m x 3.5m, 1.2m constant depth outdoor lap pool was installed along with three retractable water fountains which raise from the pool floor. The fountains are interlocked with a safety cover to ensure they are only operational when the cover is opened. LED lighting and natural looking glass mosaics were selected to complete the look. The pool is heated by a Bowman heat exchanger connected to a heat pump system.
The pool came highly commended in the Residential Outdoor Pool of the Year category in last year’s UK Pool & Spa Awards. Within the basement of the same property, a 10m x 5m concrete pool was constructed Falcon Pools, as well as a sauna and tiled steam room.
