Guncast Swimming Pools took on the challenge of designing a distinctive family swimming pool in the Cotswolds within the grounds of a large family home.
Measuring 18m x 6m x 1.4m, this large pool is set in charming landscaped gardens and features large format black stone interior tiles to provide an elegant and glossy finish.
One of the real differentiators in this design is the children’s pool which is integrated into the main pool. The 3m x 3m pool has a constant depth of 0.4m and provides a safe area for young children to swim and play whilst still being in part of the main pool. Half width steps with double size top step, adjacent to the children’s pool, provide an ideal seating area for adults. This bespoke project also benefits from an outdoor vitality spa pool measuring 3m x 3m, which is beautifully finished.
Incorporating two swan necks, a generous bench with seat bubbles and wall jets, and a turbo hot seat body station, this pool offers the ultimate in relaxation. At the touch of a button Ocea automatic covers emerge from their cave housing to cover both the pool and spa and ensure they retain their heat when not in use.
