This outdoor swimming pool project was of particular interest to pool installers, Jetform Services, of Essex, because the client had a clear passion for swimming. Eight years ago, the Jetform team had constructed a 10 x 5m indoor pool in the basement at the same property. This time around, the client brief was to provide a training pool to be used daily throughout the year. The Jetform designers came up with a 25m x 3m infinity pool to take advantage of the beautiful Surrey countryside. The contract included a fully automatic slatted solar cover and the heat source was entirely by air source heat pump, with any surplus energy being diverted back to the house for domestic heating. A specialist team in the design and construction of swimming pools, Jetform Services was formed in 1992 and is the trading company for Jetform Swimming Pools. During this time Jetform has established itself as one of the major swimming pool companies in the UK, winning multiple awards as members of the Swimming Pool and Trade Association.
