Eagle-eyed viewers may have spotted Cornwall Pools’ recent appearance on Alan Titchmarsh’s Love Your Garden programme this summer.
The pond conversion by Cornwall Pools was featured on the ITV show in July. “We were approached by an interior designer, on behalf of their clients, who wanted to convert a garden pond, that had seen better days, into an outdoor plunge pool,” explains Nigel Brawn of Cornwall Pools.
“The plunge pool was to form a focal point of the garden, whilst being aesthetically pleasing and mindful of the existing surroundings.”
Featuring steps leading down into the plunge pool, the coping and paving was supplied by Cranbourne Stone, with tiles supplied by The Mosaic Group.
Nigel adds: “Access to the site was extremely tough due to the challenging location of the pool. “We worked very closely with the designer and clients on everything from materials to potential issues relating to location. The finished article is a beautiful, yet subtle, swimming pool that blends effortlessly into the properties stunning views of the Fal Estuary in St Mawes.”
