Sundance Pools recently made they TV debut on Channel 4’s popular home improvement programme ‘Double Your House for Half the Money’. Presented by property guru Sarah Beeny, the programme helps homeowners achieve the property dreams without breaking the bank. Milton Keynes based Sundance Pools installed a one-piece fibreglass pool for the Margolis family in Radlett, Hertfordshire in April this year after being referred by friends who had recently had their own Sundance pool installed.
The groundwork was completed by local contractors and due to very limited side access the pool was craned over the top of the family’s bungalow using a lightweight long reach crane. As well as installing a cost-efficient, robust and lowmaintenance fibreglass pool, the family also invested in roofmounted solar panels to heat the pool sustainably. Director of Sundance Pools, Jeremy West said: “Extensive filming took place on the day of delivery as well as at a previous Sundance pool site near Buckingham, where Sarah Beeny brought Adam and Laura Margolis to give them an idea of the finished product, and to sing the praises of fibreglass pools.” He added: “It’s wonderful to see the benefits of fibreglass pools attracting not only the recognition but also the enthusiasm of a property development expert like Sarah.”
