Dröm joins KLAFS wellness family…
Already a market leader in the sauna, pool and spa sector, KLAFS acquired a majority stake of Dröm UK this summer – another high-profile company to further strengthen both its UK and international market position.
At the forefront of thermal wellbeing in the UK since 2002, Dröm UK Ltd was formed by Barry Smith and Kicki Carlsson, quickly becoming specialists in the design and installation of luxury, bespoke thermal rooms in the high end residential and commercial sectors.
Today, the company offers a large portfolio for ultra bespoke saunas, steam baths and spas in the luxury property segment. The highly experienced Dröm UK team, around Managing Director Barry Smith, will become part of the KLAFS Group and will operate alongside Guncast Pools & Wellness in the future.
The British supplier of swimming pools, spas and wellness suites to the premium sector, has been part of the KLAFS Group since 2021. “With the addition of Dröm UK Ltd to the KLAFS Group, we continue to expand our international business,” said KLAFS CEO Phillip Rock. “Dröm UK’s high level of expertise in design and quality fits perfectly with our requirements. Together with Guncast, we are well positioned in the UK and see great potential for KLAFS’ high-quality products in this market.”
With the showroom in Surrey, KLAFS will also have a presence on the doorstep of London. “The inviting showroom in Surrey, soon to be equipped with KLAFS products, is the perfect complement to the existing KLAFS showroom in Cheshire, enabling us to advise our clients personally and showcase the high quality of KLAFS products” says Gilles Darmon, Director KLAFS UK.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dröm UK into the KLAFS family, and we are looking forward to working alongside their expert team to deliver the best in wellness products and services to clients up and down the country,” he adds. Dröm UK has been at the forefront of thermal wellbeing since 2002 – specialists in the design and installation of luxury, bespoke thermal rooms in both the residential and commercial sectors.
“As an industry specialist with more than 25 years of experience, I am very excited to be part of such a prestigious and forward-thinking brand, that can continually create innovative products in the thermal wellbeing arena and deliver some of the best projects in the world”, says Barry Smith, CEO of DRÖM UK.
“In the future, we will fully support the activity of the KLAFS Group in the UK with the Dröm UK team. By incorporating some of our own ideas and know-how, together with KLAFS existing offering, we can successfully use our combined strengths to push the UK market to new heights. “We are specialists in the design and installation of luxury, bespoke thermal rooms in both the residential and commercial sectors.
Our values have remained the same throughout and most of our clients have worked with us on numerous projects. “KLAFS have discovered that our unique combination of creativity, quality, project management and attention to detail is difficult to find elsewhere. Dröm UK offers honest and expert advice every step of the way, leading everyone towards a healthier, more relaxed lifestyle,” he continues.
“By incorporating some of our own ideas – from design to construction – together with all that KLAFS already offers, we can successfully use our combined strengths to push the UK market to new heights.” The Dröm UK range will still continue, however will now have access to the outstanding KLAFS range being able to offer clients an even bigger range of products.
“The Byfleet showroom is a massive part of our success, so we will definitely be keeping it! We will, however, be reviving the current showroom and redesigning it slightly, to showcase some of KLAFS’ exceptional products,” Barry emphasises. “This partnership simply now opens us up to a greater range of wellness products, great resource from the KLAFS team and a wider network of potential clients across the UK.”
Barry says it will be business and service as usual for Dröm’s existing clients.“ There are bound to be questions asked and a level of uncertainty that comes with this type of acquisition, but rest assured that Dröm UK will continue to work in the way that we do best, and our clients will continue to be able to get the highly quality products and service that they have come to expect from Dröm UK.
