The Gailes Hotel & Spa in Ayrshire fought off strong competition to be crowned the winner of Scotland’s Best Spa and Leisure Hotel at the 2022 Prestige Hotel Awards.
Having recently undergone a £2 million extension and refurbishment, visitors can now enjoy use of the thermal suite with vitality pool, sauna, steam room, relaxation area and rainforest shower as well as the spa’s champagne and cocktail lounge, deep relaxation area and outdoor spa deck with hydro pool.
Led by two experienced spa managers and a team of 10 expert therapists and wellness professionals, the 2000 square metre spa offers a range of day spa packages and overnight spa breaks. The Gailes Hotel & Spa is part of the family-owned SimpsInns group with award winning hotels, restaurants, bars, golf and leisure in Ayrshire.
Supporting around 250 local jobs, SimpsInns has recently invested over £3m across its portfolio of venues around the Ayrshire Coast to enhance quality and the overall visitor experience at The Waterside Hotel in West Kilbride and the Old Loans Inn at Troon as well as The Gailes & Spa in Irvine.
