Sold out, bar a handful of small stands, SPATEX 2024, the UK’s only dedicated water leisure show is shaping up to be a powerhouse of industry knowledge, and the most innovative, energy-saving showcase to be staged.
On from Tuesday to Thursday, February 6th to 8th next year, at the Coventry Building Society Arena, authoritative industry bodies, such as Swimming Teachers’ Association (STA), Institute of Swimming (IOS), Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS), Legionella Control Association (LCA), Water Management Society (WMS) and the Institute of Swimming Pool Engineers will be holding additional seminars and networking events both for their members and exhibition attendees.
Organiser, Michele Bridle, says: “We are delighted to host so many esteemed associations, and the gravitas and wealth and breadth of knowledge they bring to the show is impressive. For those three days in February, SPATEX will literally be the centre of the universe for the industry. Never, in SPATEX’s 28-year history, has there been so much widespread support.”
FREE SEMINARS
SPATEX prides itself on its free double seminar programme and this will, of course continue to be a major feature of the show. ISPE will take up its traditional spot in Arena 1 and CPD points and certificates of attendance are issued to all attendees.
Details of a new programme of technical workshops will shortly be released on the SPATEX website (www.spatex.co.uk) along with details of the parallel Arena 2 seminars. Michele adds: “With the education box firmly ticked and having secured a hall brimming with over a hundred leading suppliers and manufacturers, we turned our attention to networking.
So, responding to demands, we plan to repeat the highly successful Curry Night at Dhillon’s Brewery on the Wednesday of the show, following the SPATEX networking party. Just a five-minute walk from the Arena, the event that is open to all exhibitors and visitors, proved a rip-roaring success this year.
