A team of 19 staff from Bosta UK pipe and pool equipment suppliers, is celebrating after successfully completing its Three Peaks Challenge, raising more than £5000 for its two worthy causes – the St. Nicholas Hospice and Help For Heroes.
Oozing infectious enthusiasm, the effervescent Conrad Bos clutches a packet of frozen peas as he welcomes me to the Bosta UK headquarters in Suffolk, writes Christina Connor.
“This is to remind us of the importance of Ps,” enthuses Conrad, Bosta’s UK managing director. “P for people; p for product and p for proper planning – we all
need to remember the peas,” he smiles.
A team of 23 from all departments of Bosta UK will go the extra mile this
month when they take on the notorious Three Peaks Challenge of climbing
Ben Nevis, Skarfel Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours.
Climbing times are generally suggested as being around four hours for
Snowdon, and five hours each for Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike. Taking on
the challenge within 24 hours is notoriously difficult, draining energy and
depriving participants of sleep.
