Cast Off In Hot Tub Boat

Described as the most luxurious method of relaxation available with revolving scenery, an Hot Tub Boat provides a unique, one-of a kind, recreational activity by combining a standard hot tub and a classic boat design.
The idea was conceived by Adam Karpenske of Karpenske Marine Carpentry in Seattle, Washington. After several cold, rainy
winters living aboard a wooden boat, he decided an Hot Tub Boat would make a perfect addition to his live-aboard home and a possible tender.
Still in the ‘soft start’ phase, the goal is to have a rental fleet operational on Lake Union, Seattle, by the end of May this year while bespoke orders for purchase are now being taken.

Although attendance figures for this year’s SPATEX show fell for the third year in succession, the consensus of opinion has been that Brighton once again offered a worthwhile showcase for the majority of exhibitors and attendees alike. It was a case of quality over quantity as official visitor figures put attendance at 1,241 – the lowest figures since 2009 and nearly half that of the 2007 total of more than 2,000.
