Hot tub manufacturer HotSpring World has created a special pink hot tub, to raise awareness of Breast Cancer Research month.
The one-of-a-kind hot tub will be raffled off later this month, with all proceeds going to the charity. The fundraising idea is the brainchild of HotSpring World’s marketing manager, Lynda Smart, who is herself a survivor of breast cancer, after developing an aggressive form of it a young age.
Lynda comments: “We are hoping that this initiative will raise as much money as possible to aid further research and to help raise awareness. It is hoped that this should give people greater knowledge of breast cancer, leading to earlier detection, which in itself is associated with higher long-term survival rates.”
All HotSpring World Showrooms in the UK will be decked out with pink balloons and decorations during October to promote the cause. There will also be collection boxes for the charity in all showrooms and anyone wishing to enter the raffle can do so by purchasing a £2 raffle ticket. The prize includes matching pink steps, thermal cover, water care pack, standard delivery and full support – worth £3,500 in total.
There is also a JustGiving page set up for anyone wanting to make a donation and this can be found at www.justgiving.com/ HotSpringWorld.
