Planning is well underway for a dynamic, action-packed 31st edition of the UK’s one and only dedicated water leisure show – SPATEX 2027 – Tuesday 2nd to Thursday 4th February 2027 at the Coventry Building Society Arena. Open to all and free to attend, this is an unmissable international event.
The 2026 show attracted big name exhibitors from 13 countries including Europe, Canada and North America, with visitors flocking from 25 countries. With updates to the exhibition floorplan making way for new exhibitors, SPATEX 2027 promises a fresh new feel while retaining all the familiar names the industry has come to expect.
Following this year’s unprecedented hot summer, water leisure is booming in the UK and demand is high. Every sector of the industry is represented, and this is the first opportunity in 2027 to view the innovations that will make the headlines in the pool season ahead. There is so much variety and vibrancy – from saunas, ice baths, wellness and hot tubs to swimming pools, water features, enclosures and all the ancillary equipment.
Not just a showcase of innovations and trends, education remains at the heart of SPATEX. The well-attended free double seminar programme is set to be even bigger in 2027. Indeed, many of the show’s visitors from Europe include pool builders who attend for the informative hands-on technical workshops. A recent survey was conducted to identify the topics visitors would most like to see at next years show, a new programme is now being curated, with expert speakers responding to the industry’s call for relevant, practical and informative content.
Following its successful launch at this year’s show, the Industry Hub will return to SPATEX in 2027. Providing a valuable focal point for industry knowledge and expertise, the Hub brings together, on one stand, the collective knowledge of RLSS UK (Royal Life Saving Society UK), IoS (Institute of Swimming), STA (Swimming Teachers’ Association), BSPF (British Swimming Pool Federation) and PWTAG (Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group).
