The Aqua Platinum Projects team was commissioned to create the glamorous basement swimming pool with fibre optic floor lighting and spa facilities including a bespoke steam room, sauna with feature wall and six person spa.
The 17m swimming pool includes a stunning feature wall made up of copper tone tiles which continues into the residents changing rooms designed and built by APP. The basement spa includes a fully tiled spa, vitality pool with warm jets, a luxury bespoke sauna, a steam room, and unique brass-finished changing rooms. In addition, APP have undertaken the build of treatment rooms, all associated drainage and M&E for the entire basement area.
Exclusively for the residents, the serenity of the 17m swimming pool and the warm jets of the vitality pool are the perfect way to unwind. Residents can a swim or simply relax poolside and forget all about the outside world in the luxury sauna or bespoke steam room. Opened in the summer of last year, APP took on the design and build of the entire residents’ amenities with state-of-the-art designs and features.
APP also designed a luxury traditional sauna that includes an Alder timer finish and stone feature wall. The dark natural Alder finish oozes luxury and the bespoke sauna door is complete with premium style stainless steel handles and glazed frontage within the glamorous basement spa area.
In addition, the team have designed and built a luxury steam room which includes floating benches using a cantilever system, specialist steam generator with automatic essence dosing and digital steam room control with 24hr programmer and unique air/steam mixing system to ensure optimum diffusion in the room.
