The Barbados AirJet™ is one of the most energy-efficient model across the entire Lay-Z-Spa range, setting a new standard for inflatable hot tubs.
Boasting impressive eco credentials, the product was the winner of the Energy Efficiency title at the recent UK Pool and Spa Awards.
It is the first of its kind to include the brand new EnergySense™ insulated liner and top cover that offers 40% more energy efficiency than both other Lay-Z-Spa models and most comparable inflatable hot tubs on the market. It heats up quicker and holds the heat in for much longer.
The energy saving integrated thermal hot tub cover is made of a layer of foam wrapped in an aluminium coating and that is surrounded in 2 layers of Lay Z Spa’s tough and robust 3-ply DuraPlus™ material. The energy-saving liner also limits the need for extra insulation which would incur additional costs to the user and ensures better energy consumption and value for money all round.
As with all Lay-Z-Spa hot tubs, the Barbados AirJet™ includes an insulating inflatable lid that is housed inside the top cover.
ENERGY-SAVING
This energy-saving accessory, coupled with the EnergySense™ top cover, helps reduce heat loss through the water’s surface, which is one of the biggest causes of water heat loss across all other inflatable hot tub brands’ products.
The entire Lay-Z-Spa range now includes Freezeshield™ technology as standard. This technology automatically circulates warm water when temperatures drop and doesn’t require a constant heat source in the water.
To further help with reducing energy consumption, the Barbados AirJet™ includes a power-saving timer that allows the user to set when they want the water to heat and when they want it to stop.
It also comes with Wi-Fi connectivity allowing complete control through the Lay-Z-Spa app which also cuts down unnecessary energy usage.
