Interbad returned to Messe Stuttgart in September, marking the 50th anniversary of the international trade fair. 14,000 visitors from 72 countries visited the four-day exhibition, which brought together professionals from across all areas of water leisure.
Organised by the German Association for the Recreational and Medicinal Bath Industry, Interbad 2016 welcomed 437 exhibitors in an exhibition area spanning 35,000 m2, many presenting new products, practical solutions and innovations for the pool and spa markets.
Among the exhibitors were a number of UK companies who enjoyed a busy few days, including Ecofinish, the Swim Suit Dryer Company, Elecro Engineering – manufacturers of swimming pool heating equipment, and water testing experts ITS Europe.
Other notable exhibitors included NIVEKO s.r.o, who introduced their new NIVEKO Plus concept at the exhibition and Lovibond Tintometer who displayed their extensive range of water analysis equipment. Feedback from both exhibitors and visitors to the exhibition was very positive.
Armin Herger, President of Speck Pumpen commented: “Right from the very first day the trade fair was much better than expected!
“The exhibitors showed dedication and were active, the visitor numbers were good, the proportion of professional and foreign visitors was encouragingly high. Eastern Europe and Scandinavia were particularly well represented. These are important markets for us. Overall, we are extremely satisfied.”
Franz Reps, President of Compass Ceramic Pools added: “Many swimming pool construction companies and private clients attended Interbad 2016. We were well-positioned in the right hall, the quality of visitors was high, and we met our target group. Here we were able to establish new contacts and to cultivate our relationships with existing contacts. For us Interbad is an important trade fair and pioneering for the business of the future.”
The next Interbad takes place at Messe Stuttgart from 23 to 26 October 2018.
