MegaGroup, the parent company of Bosta UK, has taken the wraps off its new European Distribution Centre, the ultimate birthday present to mark the company’s 70th anniversary.
The EDC, located in Veghel, in the Netherlands, houses over 20,000 stock items and is equipped with the most advanced logistical solutions.
By merging all the warehouses of its Western European branches, the MegaGroup has created a single warehouse which holds an enormous range of products, available to clients at a moment’s notice.
Thanks to the well-designed layout and use of state-of the art machinery, computer systems and software; order preparation is now considerably less labour-intensive, enabling orders to be delivered more completely and in one quick go. Orders are supplied with the back up of a comprehensive tracking system enabling clients to know exactly where their items are at any point during the delivery process.

MegaGroup specialises in water products and has over 70 years experience in the field. During this time the group has built up a network of companies in 14 European countries.

Reflecting the company’s environmental ambitions, the new EDC is heated by means of energy-saving geothermal energy via 375 probles drilled into the grounds. The centre is lit with energysaving LED lighting and, where feasible, the company uses electric company cars.
