Bespoke Swimming Pools recently breathed new life into a tired old pool at a private property in Borough Green, Kent. The 12m x 5.5m outdoor pool was originally built to incorporate a liner but after being retrospectively tiled, five years ago, the pool had fallen into a state of disrepair.
A market leader in super yacht luxury spas and whirlpool bath systems, Splash-Tec has just completed a bespoke spa in collaboration with William Garvey cabinet makers. The striking teak shell was crafted and finished by the Devon-based cabinet makers, and Splash-Tec then transformed it into a lavish statement feature for a luxury Knightsbridge home.
Yorkshire residents are set to dive into new waters as work gets well underway on the new Selby Leisure Centre. The new facility will replace the former Abbey Leisure Centre, which was destroyed by fire in February 2013. The main contractor on the project, Wates Construction, awarded aqua-leisure specialist Barr + Wray a £500,000 contract to install the water features for the centre.
Lymington Sea Water Baths had its busiest month on record this summer, attracting more than 10,000 visitors during July alone. The hot temperatures, combined with a new schedule of events and activities at the Hampshire-based baths led to the three-fold increase in visitor numbers, with over 1,100 people visiting in just one day.
