Hydropool Spas welcomed a profile-raising opportunity to sponsor the pro-am Alternative Ryder Cup golf tournament in aid of charity. Held near Almeria in Spain, the event was timed to coincide with the real Ryder Cup. Matches mirrored the main event as participants playing during the day and then watched the television coverage during the evening and into the early hours.

Artesian Spas have donated a limited-edition pink spa to one of their dealers in aid of cancer support at their local hospital. The Artesian Spas dealer, World of Hot Tubs, is an avid supporter of the cause and is leading the campaign to raise money for cancer patients. Artesian has convinced many of their local retailers to sell pink-themed ducks in aid of scheme. Every duck purchaser is automatically entered into a free prize draw and the lucky winner will receive a limited edition pink Dominica spa, one of a kind, worth about Ā£7,000.
An outbreak of Legionnairesā disease, linked to a display hot tub in Stoke-on-Trent, has resulted in 21 cases including two deaths, the Health Protection Agency has confirmed. One of the two victims was named as 64-year-old Richard Griffin, a delivery driver who supplied meats to the JTF Warehouse in Fenton, a discount superstore that is being blamed as the source.

figures for the first six months of their latest financial year, show
Jacuzzi UK sustaining a 46% sales growth.
A team of 23 from all departments of Bosta UK will go the extra mile this
month when they take on the notorious Three Peaks Challenge of climbing
Ben Nevis, Skarfel Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours.
Climbing times are generally suggested as being around four hours for
Snowdon, and five hours each for Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike. Taking on
the challenge within 24 hours is notoriously difficult, draining energy and
depriving participants of sleep.
