The Yacht Pool is the latest design in the Compass Pools range of one-piece in-ground swimming pools. The Yacht Pool features some very obvious nautical styling cues, from the teak decking surrounding the integral hydrotherapy hot tub, to the polished steel handrails adorning each side of the stylised bow. Even the controls which operate the hydrotherapy jets are based on a pair of stainless steel marine throttle levers. The Yacht Pool features other refinements like multi-coloured LED underwater lighting and a counter-current swimming unit.
One-piece pools are becoming increasingly popular across India, in both commercial and residential projects. With hotels, townships, and private homes sprouting up across the subcontinent, coupled with the rise of Indiaâs middle class; the market potential for ready-made pools is set to soar. Ready-made pools are not only cheaper than traditional pools but require significantly less time to install.
Representatives of the 26 member companies that make up the UK-based buying consortium of National Leisure gathered in Amsterdam recently accompanied by Pool and Spa Scene editor, Christina Connor. The group visited the premises of Interhiva and Starline in Holland and Belgium to find out more about the products National Leisure already stocks and to learn about many new products they could potentially add to their 2012 offering.
The UK water leisure trade has traditionally been unwilling to
overcome its one-piece pool prejudice.
Popular in the southern hemisphere markets such as Australia
and South Africa, the all-in-one option has also gained a
significant following across France and mainland Europe.
Meanwhile, the sceptical UK pool traditionalists stone-walled the
âwashing up bowlâ option in favour of more conventional home pool
building methods such as block and liner and panel pools.
The only one-piece âtiledâ composite pool currently available in the UK water leisure sector, the Signature Pool range is a top shelf option for the all-in-one market.
