You have to be an extra special spa retailer to join the Superior Spas family with dealers even invited to walk over hot coals at their recent annual seminar. The event was held in the outstanding setting of Ringwood Hall Hotel and Spa, in Chesterfield, where representatives from 29 dealerships gathered from all over the UK for a fun packed day of talks and activities. Recurring motivational themes throughout the event were āmind of matterā and āpositivityā.
Dealers worked together in challenging activities that filled the whole room with laughter and loud applause especially with cheers for those who took on the challenge walking bare foot over a carpet of hot coals. Rob Carlin, Managing Director of Superior Spas opened proceedings by welcoming everyone to what was their biggest seminar to date. After introducing several new dealers to the growing Superior family, Rob announced the arrival of new swim spas models, new spa models, new components and new insulation, thatās being introduced to the Superior portfolio in the coming months. Rob was also able to give an update on Superiorās new headquarters, currently under construction, that will have an additional 8,000ft2 capacity, taking the full facility to a sizable 28,000 ft2 of warehousing, offices and showroom. A double decker bus took delegates for a look at the new impressive site and the container park housed within it.
With guest presentations by Gecko Alliance, Creative Marketing and Vendigo Finance, Superiorās Graham Message spoke about the importance of visual merchandising and the power of displaying accessories as the fore runner to the scheduled fire walking afternoon event.
AWARDS EVENING
The event was topped off by an āAt the Oscarsā theme awards presentation evening where dealers include a magician, casino and arcade games. The 80ās disco filled the dance floor with some very special moves coming from many dealers and Superior team staff. āThis has been a fantastic day where we were able to thank our dealer network for their continued support and success,ā reflected Rob Carlin, Superior Spasā Managing Director.
āIt was also a pleasure to welcome our own staff to be part of the evening, where they were able to mix with the dealer network. āThis has been our biggest dealer event and we pulled out all the stops to create a balance between business and fun, not sure how we top it, but be assured we will next year for sureā.ā
