Sustainability is now at the forefront of minds at Superior Wellness, almost a year since the 70-strong team moved into their new 130,000 square foot headquarters, including a warehouse holding up to 3,000 hot tubs.
At Superior Wellness, it is everyone’s responsibility to think of how they become more sustainable. At the monthly company meeting, team members are invited to put forward their ideas. The marketing team are pro-active with communicating progress; internally via email or the latest news section of our website.
The company’s efforts are being recognised, winning the Sustainability Award in the brand new 2021 Love Chesterfield Awards; the prestigious awards organised by Destination Chesterfield.
Mark Needham, Head of Operations at Superior Wellness said: “Sustainability is high on the agenda at Superior Wellness and it became even more important when we moved into the new headquarters.
“Within the first few months, we reviewed our waste strategy, purchased a wood roll packer, purchased electric forklift trucks, installed solar panels and have electric charging points.”

WITH ENERGY EFFICIENCY at their core, including battery charged fork lift trucks, Superior Wellness involve the whole team in efforts to become more sustainable.

Superior Wellness has also confirmed a new supplier relationship with sustainable printing company and can now display the Carbon Balanced Print logo on printed materials.
The latest sustainability initiative is to replace all bulbs with LEDs. This will save 67% in energy costs which have increased significantly recently. Based on the rooms being occupied 60% of the day the Annual Carbon Emissions saved (CO2 (kg) will be 99304.3.

They are committed to improving the energy efficiency of our products and for inspiration looked at how modern homes are insulated. With running costs and energy efficiency at the forefront of a customer’s mind when buying a hot tub, it is vital to know that your new luxury purchase is not going to cost the earth to run.
Within the next 12 months Superior Wellness will continue to develop a sustainability strategy and seek to become more sustainable as a business. Their ten-year vision is to become carbon neutral.
