Aspen Spas, available in the UK through Aspel Spas, are upgrading their spas and swim spas with triple-insulation as standard on all products. The spa shell has a high-density insulation foam on it, then there is an inner framework where a Celotex sealed box is installed – then the standard insulation is on the cabinet creating two cavity voids.
“We have found the results simply staggering – we are nearly at a third cost of running our original spas,” explains Aspel’s Issy Sanger. “Furthermore we will be going to 5” covers as we feel the answer hasn’t been to fit air source heat pumps, heat exchanges etc it has been to make the energy we consume have the maximum efficacy out of it.”
