Let me introduce myself – I’m Debbie Collins, the new Marketing Coordinator at PWTAG, and I couldn’t have joined at a better time. PWTAG’s work sits at the heart of raising standards across our industry and my role is all about amplifying that voice — sharing insight, celebrating good practice and helping more organisations connect with what PWTAG does best. I’m keen to hear from members and the wider industry alike, whether that’s feedback, ideas or news worth sharing. With some exciting developments ahead, now is the perfect time to get involved. Drop me a line at marketing@ pwtag.org — I’d love to hear from you.
The recent PWTAG Conference proved to be a real highlight in the industry calendar and a strong demonstration of the continued commitment across the sector to improving swimming pool water quality and operational standards. With excellent attendance, high levels of engagement and thoughtful discussion throughout the programme, the event reinforced the value of bringing operators, suppliers, consultants and regulators together to share knowledge and experience.
Looking ahead, attention now turns to SPATEX, a key event for PWTAG members and the wider industry, offering the opportunity to meet leading
international manufacturers and distributors, explore the latest plant room technologies, and stay up to date with innovation in pool and spa operation. Visitors can also benefit from the show’s free double seminar programme, featuring presentations from PWTAG experts.
Alongside its events and guidance, PWTAG is updating the next edition of Swimming Pool Water to reflect the latest research and evolving industry practice. The book combines technical depth with practical clarity, supporting all those involved in pool design, treatment and management, and covers essential topics from hygiene and disinfection to water chemistry, testing, outbreak management, hydrotherapy, emergency procedures, and spa and leisure pools, with updated content on areas such as UV validation, pool upgrades and specialist facilities.
Our upcoming webinar programme is on the way, offering practical, engaging sessions led by PWTAG experts and industry specialists to help you stay up to date with the latest guidance, research and best practice in pool water treatment and operation. Full details will be coming soon.
