When the industry’s only dedicated water leisure show returns to the Coventry Building Society Arena, from Tuesday January 31st to Thursday February 2nd, the organisers of SPATEX 2023 promise some exciting new twists during its action-packed three days.
SPATEX has long been regarded as so much more than a unique showcase of products. There’s lots to look forward to with 17 companies to date making their Coventry debut SPATEX will provide the launchpad for a whole gamut of new products ranging from a new electrochemical disinfection system; hot tub enclosures; an ultra-modern aluminium gazebo with integrated LED lighting; a new AM 50 OCR render for pool surrounds and showers; a safer, easier-to-use and more efficient and attractive cartridge filter; stainless steel pool; heat pumps a container swimming pool and much more.
With more than 100 exhibitors taking part, SPATEX 2023 will also host 40 workshops and seminars that are free to delegates. The 2023 event will also be the launchpad for the Swimming Teachers’ Association (STA) and British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) Swim to the Beat fund-raising campaign on the Wednesday of the show. It will kick off on the Aqua Warehouse Stand E2, with a team of swimmers demonstrating synchronised and mermaid swimming. Aqua Warehouse is lending its 12ft Vita XF2 model, featuring the new automatic cover while SPATEX is sponsoring the heating of the water.
The campaign invites swim schools and leisure facilities to participate in fund raising in February, Heart Month, for research into heart and circulatory diseases. The popular SPATEX Networking Party, with free drinks and canapes for all visitors and exhibitors, traditionally held on the Wednesday evening of the show in the Arena, is now firmly established as one of the industry’s much talked about social events of the year.
