OPEN DOOR POLICY FOR OCEA UK

TRADE VISITORS to the recent Ocea UK Open Day were able to take demo products back to base for a full try out.

Ocea UK recently opened its doors with an Open Day for pool trade visitors – a chance to show off its new Oxfordshire facility. Guest were welcomed with hot drinks and breakfast before a short presentation from Ocea UK’s Alan Thorne.

The existing manufacturing base for Ocea Automatic Covers is a stone’s throw from the new facility so tours were available for those who wanted an insight into the precise and controlled manufacturing environment where the premium slatted covers are handmade to order.

Much of the product attention centred on Ocea’s new brand partnership with Aquagem. Ocea will be officially launching three new products from the Aquagem stable at this year’s SPATEX event. With three small demo pools in the showroom Ocea was able to demonstrate how quiet and efficient the new pumps are.

The new InverMaster, officially the quietest pump on the market at 30 decibels it was whisper quiet meaning guests could not believe it was actually running. One of the highlights of the day saw visitors volunteer to perform swim tests in the heated demo pool against both Binder HydroStar and the new InverJet retrofit system from Aquagem.

After a delicious lunch, the day ended with lots of questions for the team with demo models distributed to those who wanted to put the new products to the test.
