Pool & Spa Advice Clinic

LIW preview
Up to 7,000 leisure professionals from across the country are expected to visit Leisure Industry Week at the Birmingham NEC this year.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, Leisure Industry Week (LIW) returns to Birmingham’s NEC from September 30 to October 2, promising to be bigger and better than ever before.

Up to 7,000 leisure industry professionals are expected to visit the three day show, spanning across six core sectors including Pool & Spa, Play, Health & Fitness, Eat & Drink, Leisure Facilities and Sport.

The compact Pool & Spa section will once again provide a hub for the UK’s commercial pool and spa professionals to network, exchange ideas and share the latest innovations. Every aspect is covered from digital ‘Learn to Swim’ schemes, pool based alternative therapy techniques and filtration systems through to swimwear, pool platforms and towels, textiles and accessories.

New for this year and co-ordinated by the Pool & Spa Scene magazine team is the Pool & Spa Advice Clinic. Providing a onestop pool and spa information centre at stand W440, alongside the show pool, representatives from four of the industry’s leading companies Bayrol, Anapos, DG Pool & Leisure and Pollet Pool Group will be on hand to offer advice on all aspects of pool and spa maintenance. From planning a new pool to refurbishing an old one, or deciding which wellness options will generate the most revenue, the panel of industry experts have got it covered.

Jimmy Lamb, product manager at Bayrol and part of the expert panel comments: “Getting the right advice is crucial when it comes to pool and spa queries, and sometimes the best solution is to have a face-to-face conversation with someone that knows the subject inside out.

“The advice clinic is the perfect opportunity for people to ask those burning questions they may have been afraid to ask, and we’re delighted to be offering this service to visitors at the show.”

The launch of our Photometer is just the latest example of how the STA is proactively seeking new and exciting solutions that meet the demands of today’s pool operators.”

James Samuel, LIW event director, says: “LIW has maintained its position as the UK’s leading leisure exhibition because we take on board feedback from exhibitors and visitors with the aim of growing and improving the show year on year. The Pool & Spa sector of the show is shaping up to be a really exciting element of the show highlighting what’s new, progressing or essential within the aquatic industry.
