Commercial pool specialists Devin Consulting hit a landmark figure last month after being appointed to design its 500th project.
The Newcastle-based business have been responsible for some of the worlds’ most prestigious projects since 2000 including; the London Aquatic Centre for 2012 Olympics, Manchester Aquatic Centre and projects from Azerbaijan to Delhi and Qatar. Established to provide swimming pool water consultancy, Devin Consulting are now responsible for the water treatment systems of an estimated 65 million bathers worldwide.
“We are marking our 500th project with a visit to Rudding Park; after a day’s hard work exploring the new roof top spa, the whole Devin team will enjoy a celebratory dinner and overnight stay. It’ll be a pleasant change to appreciate the spa from a user perspective!” said Tom Devin.
“To share our good fortune, we have invited our friends and colleagues to nominate a charity close to their hearts; one will be chosen at random to receive a £500 donation from Devin.”
The landmark installation comes at a time when the company is working on a unique sky pool connecting two buildings at London’s Embassy Gardens, with swimmers suspended ten-storeys above the ground.
