EARLY BOOKING IS ADVISED

EARLY BOOKINGS are strongly advised for the UK Pool & Spa Awards Xmas Party to avoid disappointment.

With more than 2,000 public votes, 15 judges and three specialist juries scrutinising as part of a final adjudication, the UK Pool & Spa Awards will be celebrating its 15th year in December. The competition, run by Waterland Media, the publishers of Pool & Spa SCENE magazine, regularly attracts over 200 entries with a whopping 38 companies recognised in 2024 all gaining a vital boost for their business marketing.

This year’s contest will open to entries from May 1 with categories covering both public and residential pools, hot tubs and swim spas as well as eco-efficiency, wellness, design and business achievement. The presentation party will once again return to the National Conference Centre in Birmingham kicking off with a pre-dinner networking session with the event sponsors followed by a Xmas themed dinner.

“The organising team look set to raise the bar for competitors, year-on-year, always looking to give advice to the contest entrants to help them stand-out from the crowd,” says Christina Connor, Managing Director of Waterland Media.

“Early booking is a must this year as the competition is in danger of becoming a victim of its own success outgrowing our fourth venue to meet the demand for tickets and attendance,” she advises. Economic challenges have made the UK Pool & Spa Awards even more vital as part of an energetic marketing campaign to promote individual companies and collectively, the industry as a whole.

ENTRIES OPEN to the 2025 UK Pool & Spa Awards from May 1.

Open to the entire wet leisure sector, regardless of trade association affiliation, last year saw Lighthouse Pools retain their title of Pool Trade Supplier Of The Year with Advanced Hot tubs, Concept Spas and Hot Tubs Oxfordshire won retailers Of The Year titles for Scotland, Wales and England respectively.

The Aqua Platinum Projects team scooped five individual category wins including the prestigious UK Pool Contractor Of The Year crown. Serco Leisure, operating 70 public pools across the UK, retained its title as Leisure Operator Of The Year.

Eco-efficient product winner was Oasis Outdoor Living for its Real World swim spa. A stand-out selection of Special Achievement Awards were also presented plus a Lifetime Achievement award for Richard Way of Certikin.

Earning itself a reputation as the wet leisure industry’s Xmas party of the year, early bookings are strongly advised this year to avoid disappointment. “It is an honour and a privilege to stand by so many prestigious winners year on year,” comments Christina. “The passion, the dedication and downright blood, sweat and tears of so many only serves to boost the reputation of our industry as a whole.”
