Cancer patients will be treated to a five-star pampering day at The Headland, a top Cornish hotel, to celebrate the launch of an inclusive spa experience.
The Headland will host 12 guests for a complimentary Tea and Therapy Day, in which they will enjoy the tranquil surrounds of The Aqua Club, a sumptuous Afternoon Tea and a relaxing spa treatment. Since the start of June, The Headland Spa has been offering the ‘Made For Life Wellness Treatments’ to those who require an adapted approach to spa treatments.
The trained therapists will be aware that chemotherapy and radiotherapy can leave the skin extremely sensitive and that certain areas of the body should be avoided. The therapy is also suitable for people with conditions such as Long Covid, Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis and those suffering from stress, anxiety and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
