Its a new year and a fresh start for the team from Ocea UK as it confirms the expansion of its key supply role and consolidates its position as a niche luxury water leisure product distributor.
Already recognised as the country’s top performing slat automatic pool cover supplier, the team is making waves with the addition of the Starline swimming pool and the elite-ranked Hydrostar counter current unit, to consolidate the luxury Ocea offering.
The move comes at a time when many pool builders are experiencing stock delays, bureaucratic red tape and inevitably, increased costs when importing goods from Europe and further afield. As a UK-based supplier Ocea is geared up to side-step those delays with the supply and distribution of British sourced goods from its Oxfordshire base.
“If the UK pool industry is learning anything post Brexit; it is to source your product close to home amid an array of European transport and other stock delays,” says Ocea Managing Director, Alan Thorne.
“We are maximising the potential of our UK location by helping pool builders to secure luxury product in the most time-efficient and cost-effective manner possible without cutting any corners or making any compromises on the quality of those goods,” he adds.
